NOTE :

To optimize disinfection, surfaces and equipment should be cleaned with an appropriate cleaner or detergent in order to remove as much organic material as possible prior to disinfection. They should also be rinsed with water and air dried between cleaning and disinfecting.

The solution prepared at room temperature must remain in contact with the surface to be disinfected for at least 10 minutes (do not exceed 30 minutes for metal objects). Surfaces or equipment that are in metal or that enter in contact with food should be rinsed with potable water after disinfection.

How many days ViralFx™ solution remain active in Aquatic area?

The ViralFx™ label states that solutions are stable for at least 7 days. Actual solution life will vary depending upon its exposure to organics and UV light.

ViralFx™ is an important component of any Biosecurity program in the aquatic area.

How ViralFx™ Works

ViralFx™ unique, formulation is based on a multi-component oxidising system in which a range of compatible biocides simultaneously attack the major physical and chemical components of pathogens - giving ViralFx™ the widest proven spectrum of activity of any disinfectant available.

  • Ensures contact with macrophages.
  • Attacks / Solubilises emulsify liquid.
  • In acid medium reacts with some proteins denaturing them.
  • Maintains low pH which optimizes biocidal activity.
  • Improves resistance to inactivation by hard water and organic matter conditions.
  • Produce low pH without corrosive effect.
  • Control oxidizing activity.
  • Have selective virucidal activity.
  • Oxidizes glycoproteins – polypeptides, nucleic acids and carbohydrates.
  • Reacts with Sulphydryl groups in the nuclein protein.
